libiptcdata0-dbg software package provides Library to parse IPTC metadata (debug files), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libiptcdata0-dbg
libiptcdata0-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libiptcdata0-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libiptcdata0-dbg *
You will get with libiptcdata0-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
